His guiding career began in Kansas after donating a fishing trip to a church auction. The outing was an incredible success, with clients catching an impressive number of fish, and that experience inspired him to become a professional fishing guide. Today, Eric enjoys sharing his passion with anglers of all ages, helping families, beginners, and experienced fishermen create lasting memories while pursuing trophy largemouth bass.

As a trusted Lake Toho fishing guide, Eric spends countless days fishing Lake Tohopekaliga (Lake Toho), the Harris Chain of Lakes, Headwaters Lake, and the St. Johns River. Your trip takes place aboard a 2025 Nitro Z21 XL Pro, a high-performance 21-foot bass boat powered by a 250 HP Mercury Pro XS engine capable of speeds up to 75 mph. Built for up to four guests, the boat provides a smooth, fast ride to productive fishing grounds throughout Central Florida. A dependable 2018 Nitro Z21 XL Pro is also available as a backup vessel, ensuring every trip with Stong Outdoors is reliable, comfortable, and focused on helping you catch more bass.

GUEST CANCELLATION: In the event that you must cancel your booking, you must do so 2 days prior to your trip date to receive a refund on your deposit. Rescheduling is encouraged and dependent on guide availability.

GUIDE CANCELLATION: In the rare event that your guide must cancel due to inclement weather, health, or equipment issues, you will have the option to reschedule your charter for a later date or receive a refund on your deposit.

TIPPING: Tips to your guide are greatly appreciated for your quality trip.
